We are currently seeking a Field Accountant for the Corporate Hospitality Support Center in Greenville, SC.

This position performs the review of the daily and monthly accounting work by the unit controllers, and supplements such work with corporate adjustments in accordance with established guidelines to ensure the Company's financial statements are accurate and timely.


  • Perform monthly and periodic reporting requirements.
  • Assist in obtaining all closing documents on a timely basis.
  • Review period profit and loss statements and resolve/document variances to forecast, which resulted from inaccurate accounting.
  • Review period end balance sheets and resolve/document variances which resulted from inaccurate accounting.
  • Account analysis.
  • Produce profit and loss statements and related billings for client payment.
  • Reconcile period commission payable and prepare commission statements adhering to contractual or specified requirements.  
  • Provide telephone and on-site (as needed) support to unit controllers for weekly and monthly accounting process.
  • Review of contracts to insure proper handling of accounting functions and timely payment of contractual obligations.
  • Prepare financial reports as requested.
  • Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.


  • Bachelor's degree with course work in intermediate or advanced accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in computerized accounting systems, Windows and proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to understand written and oral direction and to communicate same with others.
  • Ability to promote and participate in team environment concepts.
  • Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.  Travel may be required.


  • Ability to organize, ability and desire to quickly learn new job-related information. 
  • Must be adaptable, exhibit initiative, and possess strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Must be detail oriented, persuasive, stress tolerant, exhibit integrity and professionalism and set high personal standards of performance. 
  • Ability to uphold confidentiality.

  • Ability to multitask in an office setting
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead
  • Ability to operate telephone and communicate
  • Ability to operate a desktop or laptop computer
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (usually file boxes)
  • Ability to access and produce information from a computer
  • Ability to physically walk approximately one-fourth (1/4) of a mile and the circumference of the unit several times a day
  • Other lifting or physical requirements as added from time to time, or as required to perform the essential functions of this job.
